• Dames Bond is a social-based networking “community” comprised of all women representing a variety of industries, at all levels. We’re not just a business directory or a group that has meetings once a month. We are a Networking “Community” where women can benefit, personally and professionally.  

• Dames Bond is accountable for everyone listed in the Dames Bond Business Directory. Our quality assurance? Three negative remarks and you are off of the list. You can count on Members of Dames Bond to have great work ethics and provide quality products and services. 

•   We actively market our Members. Once you join, we immediately announce it on all social media outlets; feature your business in the weekly “Dames Bond News Updates”; contact local media if your business is unique hoping to get you featured in a “Female Focus” episode, a WBNS 10TV   produced show about local women making a difference in our community;   list your business in every weekly update if you offer a Dame2Dame discount; encourage you   to share your expertise by writing an Expert Article, published within 24 hours on the Dames Bond website; give you   the opportunity to include your events on the Dames Bond Community Calendar, posted within 2 hours of receiving the information; invite you to host a Dames Bond Networking Event where we invite guests to your location; speak during an Event or offer a raffle prize where you get 3 minutes to talk about your business.

• We want to develop more women leaders in business and in other areas of human endeavor. We strive to make women count.

3) Why was Dames Bond started?

We conducted a lengthy survey and asked women what they want and need in a networking community.   Here’s what we learned:

• Women are strengthened by the dynamics of other women and they desire a casual atmosphere where they can connect and share.   Women want a networking group that will help them foster relationships with other women.
• Women want to be frugal and spend their marketing dollars wisely. You don't have to blow your entire marketing budget to belong to an exceptional networking community and get results.  
• Women want a networking group where they have a sense of community and belonging.
• Women want to network outside of their industry, with women from different backgrounds and cultures. 
• Women want to be inspired by other women, to be helped and to help other women succeed by sharing their knowledge and resources.

First, we had to define the type of woman that would belong to a dynamic networking community.

DAME - A Dame is a woman with extensive experience in a particular area or industry who strives to help other women thrive.

Next, we needed a term that truly defined what members would have to do in order to succeed in a networking community. BOND. When Dames bond, Dames thrive!

We exist to help foster relationships between all women by providing common ground where women can connect and share.  We created an affordable networking community where all women can get involved in the success of her sisters.

• There are thousands of women in business who are often over looked when consumers are seeking products and services. Why? Because women in business are generally in “microscopic” business and don’t have dedicated marketing dollars to advertise.

5) How can I get listed? Are there any criteria to join Dames Bond?

If you are a woman doing business in Central Ohio, whether your business is physically located in Central Ohio or you have an online business where products and services can be sold to consumers residing in Central Ohio, you can be listed in the Dames Bond Business Directory and enjoy full Membership!

 

Whether you are self-employed, manage the success of a business or employed by a company, you can benefit with a Membership and a Business Profile in the Dames Bond Business Directory for a low cost of $85 for the year or $8 per month. Non-Profit organizations pay only $35 for the year. It's our way of giving back to the community.

Dames Bond on the first Monday of the month, unless noted otherwise. Events are hosted by Members listed in the Business Directory.

 

Events take place at a different location, each month, in different parts of the city. Hosts and speakers vary each month.

• During Dames Bond Events, Members share their expertise on a variety of topics.

• We also feature Workshops.  Future workshops are being planned now. We'll keep you posted!
