Specializing in the necklace neighborhoods of downtown, Columbus, Ohio.

Old Towne East, German Village, Marion Village, Short North, Italian Village, Clintonville

Who truly knows what you’ll end up doing for a career as a youth? I believe my role model and pursing the interests that inspired me lead to this point in my successful real estate career as an urban, historical home specialist.

My admiration for historical homes started early on being able to explore the historical southern area, we Ohioans call Marietta and I called home. My second inspiration was the extremely talented work of International journalist, Christiane Amanpour. “What we do, say, and show really matter. We do it because we’re committed, because we’re believers.” Those wise words by Amanpour has been my mantra throughout my life, and now my career. I wanted to cross barriers, seek out information and better understand a situation so that I could commit to being what matters.

I decided to enroll at The Ohio State University, where I could pursue journalism. I majored in Communications and specialized in Political Science, and International Cultural Influences. I found an area full of unique historical homes to plant my roots, and it was just outside downtown.

The area, which we now know as Olde Towne East, was rundown and had long seen its glory days but I saw the potential and could visualize the beauty beneath the neglect. I was inspired by this community and it mattered to me to contribute to its rebirth.
At 19 years of age I purchased my first property to revamp, lease out, and eventually lead me to start flipping homes.

I pursued my real estate license, and was now a realtor, who focused on the urban neighborhoods whose historic homes needed an advocate for.

As I began my realtor career I was warned about the crime in these neighborhoods, but I wanted to better understand the history of the area so I could commit to building it back up. I’ve been in real estate now for over 25 years. I live, support and volunteer, shop, walk my dog, and sell homes in the near eastside. I’ve been committed to bringing life back to these neighborhoods because I believe these homes deserve to have their story told again, with me as their journalist.

If I can give to anyone looking to call the near eastside their home, what this neighborhood has given to me, it’s my honor to find the home that was meant for you!
